March 1-2
Day 1-2: Days to drive to Khovsgol Lake
Meet at your accommodation and start our adventure heading to Khovsgol Lake. We drive on the paved roads passing several towns and viewing picturesque snow covered areas. Have an overnight at a near Uran Togoo mountain. Arrive at Khovsgol Lake late afternoon on 2nd March and check in a ger camp on the shore of the frozen lake Khovsgol.

March 3
Day 3: Participate in the Ice Festival The Ice Festival starts with cultural performances, a parade of dog sleds, horse sleds, and ice-skaters.
We will see beautifully carved ice sculptures, many traditional and sporting competitions such as; witness winners of 271 km ice bike challenge, ice shooting competition, a contest of the nicest traditionally dressed people, Mongolian winter clothes show, horse sled competition and a contest of ice sculptures. In the evening, we will enjoy bonfire festival and see the shamanic ceremony.

March 4
Day 4: The Ice Festival and the competitions continue Today, you will see more events and competitions in which you can take part.
There will be a fun contest among tourists, ice target archery shooting, ice skating and sumo wrestling. If the time allows, we will have a dog sledding and horse sledding. Also, you can try traditional Mongolian meals, fresh water smoked fish and buy handmade souvenirs.

We drive back Ulaanbaatar with great memories of the winter festival. Have an overnight at a hotel in Erdenet a copper mine city.
Arrive in Ulaanbaatar around 4 pm on 6th March, and the tour ends when transferring you to your accommodation.
